Dearly Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We are living in a world were there is much freedom i.e. freedom for speech, freedom for belief, freedom for different modes of enjoyment. Nobody will restrict us. The world goes in this way. But the children of God had a distinct life style. We need to seek God’s will. If we seek the will of God, we can live here in a meaningful manner.

This time I thank God for your commitment to God and the thirst for leading a life for Christ. We need to keep a real fellowship with Christ as well as with the fellow worshipers. Avoid selfish motives. Submit our lives to Him.  We are entering into the last quarter of 2013. God blessed us in different ways. So we need to be closer to Him and ask God for forgiveness and ask Him, “What is the purpose of my life”?  “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). Every day and on each moment we should prepare ourselves to meet our God.

In the coming three months we have more important programs in our Parish. In October, we have Parish Convention and Family Sunday. Every year we were dedicating ourselves as a family, “we will serve the Lord”. I request you that, we the parents should need to dedicate ourselves for good parenting. We need to be an example to our children through our character, conduct and conversation.

November is the time of Thanks Giving. We are participating in the offerings. Our offerings should be whole hearted so that it may be blessed and pleasing to God as the offering of Abel.

In December we are celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ the Savior. We are always commercializing this great event. We need to celebrate this event more meaningfully. This celebration and Watch Night Service should be a preparation for entering the New Year. We need to take a decision in our life.

Don’t disregard His word (Hebrew 2:1-4), Don’t doubt His word (Heb:3:12,13), Don’t depart from His word (Heb:6:4-6), Don’t despise His word (Heb:10:26-28), Don’t disgrace with His word(Heb:12:25).  This New Year (2014) God gave this verse to us: - “The Lord has said; I will Bless you with a future filled with hope- a future of success, not of suffering. You will turn back to Me and ask for help, and I will answer your prayers. You will worship Me with all your heart, and I will be with you. (Jeremiah 29:11-13, Contemporary English Version).

I Wish You All A Meaningful Christmas and A Blessed New Year….
