Dearly beloved,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First of all I thank almighty Lord for all the manifold blessings which God has showered upon us in the last year. God has gifted us another new year to live with him, walk with him. Every day is the gift of God and we are created and called out by God to be a blessing in this world. Let God could say ‘because of you the world is blessed’ instead of because of you the world is cursed.

America has got a new president to lead this country. Let us pray for him so that he may be filled with God’s power and wisdom and thereby he can lead this country in a blessed way. Let us pray for all the leaders of all the countries. If the leaders of a country are moved by their own vested interest, people cannot live a peaceful life. So pray for them is our responsibility.

Let us pray for our church. Now it is in the process of electing four more bishops. Let us pray to God, give us the proper leaders at the proper time. Church is the body of Christ and Christ is the head of the church. So, Christ is the wisdom. The body must move with that wisdom. That wisdom is leading all of us to the eternity or the eternal Father. That is our destination. Don’t live by forgetting our destination.

If we forget our destination our ways will be a different one and that will lead us to the place which we are not supposed to reach. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. Not a way among other ways, not a truth among other truths, not a life among other lives. Jesus is the real way, the truth and life and there is not a choice in it.

In February, the maramon convention begins. A time for singing, praying and meditating the word of God. A time for retrospection. Let us pray to the Lord for the blessings of this great convention. Let us uphold the main speakers in our prayers so that they can deliver God’s messages to the people of God.

In the last week of February, the Great Lent begins. It is the time of transformation. A time to remember the fasting and the passion of Christ. Let us try to conform our life with the life of Christ. May the Lent season brings us a newness of life and vision

As we have entered into this new year I wish God’s blessings upon each one of you. Let the divine light of Christ Jesus shines upon us. I request everyone’s cooperation in all the church activities that we are going to do in this new year. Be active, zealous and vibrant in all church matters. I wish you all a blessed new year. God bless you all.

Psalms 84: 12, “ Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you”.

Yours in Christ
