In Revelation chapter 3 verses1-3, there is a message to the church of Sardis. This is a warning and wake up call to the end of ages.  The time of grace is going to be over. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived with God, hearing His words and obeying them.  Their spiritual eyes and ears were open to see and hear God. They were happy and content in the Kingdom of God.  But Satan made them fall, all the blessings were taken away and they were thrown out of the garden.  Then God sent Jesus to save and redeem us by giving His life as a sacrifice on the cross.  Now we are justified by faith in Jesus Christ.

We are sons, daughters and coheirs with Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of God.  As years pass by, people are distracted by this world’s luxuries, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of living high.  People always think about themselves and their selfish desires.  So the Holy Spirit says “wake up and repent”. But this generation is more focused on dollars and luxuries.  Beware!  Christ the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is coming soon. He has promised us eternal life.  Let us see how Jonah was sleeping and what happened to him.  God’s mercy saved an obstinate and short sighted Jonah. Let us see Samson’s sleep. Samson realized his pride and haughty belief in his own power, and asked God for forgiveness. Now Elijah’s sleep.  Out of depression, disappointment and fear, Elijah went to the desert and sat under a juniper tree to die. God sent his word and redeemed him. The fourth sleep – Ten brides. Do we have the anointing of the Holy Spirit to keep ourselves alert for the second coming of our Savior

Wake up and repent.  Our Lord and King Jesus is coming.  Are we ready to meet Him?  Do we have a robe of righteousness?  Do we have a helmet of salvation?  Does Christ live in us?  Do we hear His voice?  Let’s wear the girdle of Truth and the shoes of the Gospel of peace.  Do we have a shield of Faith and the sword of God’s word? Let’s be prepared to meet Him. We must always be with Him. Arise and shine.
