Message from Parish Secretary

It is time to say bye to another year. The passing year is leaving behind streams of tears shed by mothers, siblings, and lovers in many parts of the world who lost their dear ones in violent incidents. In Syria alone nearly 50,000 children were killed. Divisive tendencies, xenophobia and hatred are escalating in alarming rate. Let us be vigilant and don’t allow the factional forces to hijack our political conscience or religious standing. No spiritual person can hate the other for any reason or difference; they can only nurture and protect others.

Looking back into the trails we trod as a community, we have countless blessings to thank the Almighty and have irrevocable losses of a few of our valued members. We uphold the families who are still grieving of their beloved ones in prayers that the heavenly father would console their broken hearts. We need to review every aspect of our personal and community life and act proactively as we are heading to the New Year. William Carey, the great Indian missionary who translated Bible into many Indian languages and was instrumental for the foundation of Serampore University, inspires his fellow Christians when he says, “Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God”. Let us be hopeful and proactive. May the good Lord bless us all with His abundant blessings.

Let us all work together for the betterment of NJMTC family and build a good relationship with one another rather than fighting each other or hate each other.  Let us build good relationship, communicate properly and respect each other.

I wish you all a prosperous new year 2017

Regards

Alex Mathew
