Dearly beloved,

Greetings to all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others” (Philippians. 2:3-4). Instead of using people for satisfying my ambition, we should have an attitude of to be used for other’s blessings. Consider others as greater than ourselves because nobody is a waste but all are children of God. Jesus considered us, the humans as greater and valuable. That’s why He incarnated. He emptied Himself. Normally people’s attitude is to empty others and become self-satisfied. But Jesus did just opposite of it and this attitude and action should be ours. Otherwise we cannot go in unison and we will be a divided community. So let us try to find out the godliness in others and make our and others life a blessed one.

We have entered into the third quarter. Our children are entering into the vacation period. There are so many conferences during these vacation time and I advise all the children to make use of their vacation by participating in these conferences. Your vacation time should not be wasted rather make it more useful and creative. During the month of July we have Sr/Jr conference, VBS, our parish retreat. We have the MTVEA (Edavaka mission) conference in July. I request everyone’s prayer, support and participation for the blessings of all these meetings.

In August we have ‘back to school’ celebration-- the time for dedication and felicitating the graduates. I wish and pray that may God Almighty give a bright future to all of our children who enters into the new class, new courses and who seek good Job. We don’t know our future but believe that our future is in the hands of God. If we submit ourselves in God’s hands then God will provide us a good future.

In September we celebrate sevika sangom day and senior citizens day. Our women with great enthusiasm are participating in sevika sangom programs. This is a God given opportunity through our church to live and work for God. Use your potential, money, talents and time for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. We also celebrate senior citizens day in this month. Senior members have a long life experience. If the new generations take advice from them it will help them to be effective. Our senior members want much care, love and protection from us. At one time the led us, so let us respect them and give a good care to them.

Onam, the festival of Kerala, falls on September. We know the message of Onam. All are equal, love and care each other, no fear, no lies, no deceit and bad words. Everywhere there is goodness and all are experiencing the peace and happiness. This is the kingdom of God experience. If we consider others as great and as God’s children (Phil.2) then this concept will be fulfilled.

Let us all pray and work together for establishing the Kingdom of God in this world. For the fulfillment of this mission we are called by Christ. With that aim let us go ahead. May God bless us all

With love and prayers
