By God’s Grace we are entering into a New Year. Let us praise God for all the manifold blessings we have received from our Heavenly Father. The beginning of a New Year gives us an opportunity to have a fresh start with a deep faith in Christ. This is a time to encounter with God and find ways to become closer to the Lord.
In the beginning of this New Year, take some time to re-examine ourselves and find the elements in us to get transformed. The term “transformed” is the Greek word metamorphoo, which forms the root for the English word “metamorphosis.” When a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, we speak of it as a metamorphosis. That is what God wants for each of His children-to become perfect as we are in the mind of our Creator.
Let us commit ourselves to encounter with the Lord each day, forget our failures, give up our grudges, restore our relationships and turn our back on our sins. A good commitment will create a difference in your family, parish and community.
I express my sincere gratitude to the NJMTC committee members and all the members of the NJMTC for your support and help.
May God in His infinite mercy grant you peace and Joy forever
I wish you all a happy and blessed new year to bring kingdom values in our lives.
God bless you all.
Alex Mathew
