The members of the NJ Marthoma church choir are a team of dedicated singers and musicians who leads the congregation in singing every Sunday. Singing helps us to remember God’s mighty deeds and gives us a foretaste of heaven. It helps us unite together. The Choir consists of an English and Malayalam team. The choir is backed by a talented team of accompanists in piano, guitar and drums.
Our choir is registered with the DSMC. We strongly follow staff notations and practice harmony singing. We regularly learn new songs from the Kristheeya Keerthanam, Celebration hymnal, Praise & Worship, CSI Hymnal, Maramon convention and Popular Christian English & Malayalam songs. We set practice sessions before, and after, Sunday worship service. We always encourage budding singers and musicians to be part of our musical journey.
